I found Hay Steam Pro on Facebook and after a brief conversation, I knew that he understood how a hay steamer is supposed to work. We each drove many hours to meet up. It took him 2 minutes to explain the steamer to me, and I brought it home.
The steamer is SO EASY to use. High capacity, light weight, and IT WORKS. I use it to steam straight alfalfa hay. Alfalfa absorbs water like crazy and their expert gave me some tips that worked.
I put the alfalfa in hay nets and now when my mare shakes her net, hay and dust doesn’t fly everywhere. She loves that straight from the steamer. I give leftovers to my other horses and they prefer it to unsteamed hay.
